web site. SoCal
Volunteer is more than just a
reenactment group. SoCal Volunteer is a 'living
historian' that is part of
the Western Educators,
Shooters & Troopers organization. By being a
'living historian' I donate my time
and my efforts
in preserving the great American Frontier and its
history. Being a 'living historian' is
what this web
site is all about.

I am pictured above as a Rough Rider from the
First United States Volunteer Cavalry Regiment,
commonly known
as Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Riders.
When I am not performing Living History, I am the
event's chairperson
of the Fort MacArthur Museum
fundraiser - Old Fort MacArthur Days.
