Mission Statement

To ensure that people
understand our purpose,
we, the reenactors, will
promise to the
best of our abilities -

* to portray the era of
American history we represent
* to obtain and wear
the most accurate outfits
representing the time period
* to research and study the
history of the time period
being portrayed
* to be able to lecture or
speak about the era
* to present a program relating
to the era being represented

History of Our Group

Western Educators, Shooters
& Troopers was co-founded by
George A. Craig.  He was a
friend to many people in the
reenactment circles.  As
president of the W.E.S.T.,
George helped to make this
group 'A Splendid Little War
Society' before he passed
away in the August of 2000.

W.E.S.T. originially performed
at the old BoomTown, which
was located just north of the
10 San Bernardino Freeway
off Pepper Street in Colton.
So Cal Volunteer was formed
as a part of W.E.S.T.
